This project tries to visualize the joy of cooking a meal and the contrast of eating with your loved ones versus eating alone. Both can be appreciated but they are very different experiences. It came about as a means to force myself to cook when nobody's around. Most of the actual cooking is done during weekends so there's quite some repetition during the week. Small variations keep it interesting.

Anyway, creating two quick paintings a day as a way to turn life into art brings me joy and I hope some of it rubs off on you.

(Køkkenbord means kitchen table in Danish, the actual table, you guessed it, is Swedish, it's standing in Catalunya and the cook is Dutch. The idea to put all courses on the table at the same time I blatantly stole from Kserol, a restaurant with a French owner which you should definitely visit.)

Say hello@køkkenbord.com and "bon profit" as we mumble over here.
